Description
With this combo tour, you will have the oppurtunity to explore the biggest opera structure in Paris and one of the biggest Opera theatre in Europe. Afterwards, be amazed with a 1 hour sightseeing cruise boat tour on the Seine River.
The Opéra Garnier or Palais Garnier, is a 1,979-seat opera house in Paris and one of the biggest in Europe. When a new opera house, the Opéra Bastille, opened at the Place de la Bastille, the Palais Garnier started to be used now mainly for ballet shows. The theatre has been a ''monument historique'' of France since 1923.
The Palais Garnier was commissioned by Napoleon III, and the civic planner Baron Haussmann was given the task to build the opera house in 1858. Charles Garnier, the architect, was chosen from a competition held in 1861.
Opera Garnier is famous for its interior as well as its exterior. In the grandiose interior, the mosaic dome ceiling paintings covering the Grand Staircase, the Grand Foyer are very impressive. There is also a small lake at the bottom of the building, which is also effective in the long construction period. This pool is also the inspiration for the (Phantom of the Opera) show.

⚈ The Palais Garnier is open to visitors daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last entry at 4:00 p.m.), and during the summer from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last entry at 5:00 p.m.).
⚈ The auditorium may not be accessible during your visit due to rehearsals or performances. Please check for any exceptional closures on the official website: operadeparis.fr.
⚈ Even if you hold pre-paid tickets, you may still need to wait at security checks.
⚈ Children must be accompanied by an adult.
⚈ The public areas of the Palais Garnier are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility, with the exception of the exhibition area.

⚈ Departure frequency ranges from every 30 minutes to every hour. Exact departure times will be printed on your ticket.
⚈ There is no specific time for your cruise reservation. You can use your cruise tickets during the company's operating hours. The cruise takes approximately one hour to complete.
⚈ River cruise tickets are valid for one month from the selected travel date.
⚈ During peak seasons, waiting times for the cruise may be longer due to high visitor volume. Your patience is appreciated.
⚈ Boats hold up to 300 passengers in good weather, and 120 passengers in rainy weather to meet safety regulations.
⚈ All boats are non-smoking, though smoking is allowed on the outdoor terrace.
⚈ Audio guides are available onboard in 14 languages: French, English, Hindi, Arabic, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Dutch, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
⚈ In the car park area, cruise passengers are entitled to 1 hour of free parking. Please retain your ticket until the end of your cruise.

We weren't told in advance that the opera wouldn't be open on 09/27. We were really bummed out that we couldn't even peek inside. But the money for the opera visit that didn't happen was paid back right away. You had to download the boat tickets in a separate app. That wasn't clearly communicated. We also had trouble on site. But then it worked out The ride on the Seine was really nice, of course.

Opera Garnier is super impressive, tons of false gold and marble. Not really mine type of architecture, but surely is worth visiting. But the combined tour with river cruise is just a trick increasing the price by factor of 3 :-( just find a direct link to opera site or buy tickets inside.

It was a shame that we couldn't see the inside of the opera house. We printed out the cruise tickets and showed them, but they couldn't read them right, so we were turned away at first. I managed to negotiate with a different staff member and got in, but I'd like a more flexible approach.

The Palais Garnier was beautiful. Would have liked an audio version while walking around. Pity that influencers taking photos on the grand stair case was annoying. The boat cruise was nice snd relaxing.

The combination of the two offers was great, especially because both attractions were relatively flexible in terms of timing, so you weren't tied to any fixed times. We wanted to start the Seine cruise in the early evening, but it was so crowded that we simply went back the next day. Everything was quite relaxed then. The opera house is fantastically beautiful and definitely worth a visit.

Great tour package, available time window from 10am to 4pm given to us to do Opera house and Siene River , no hassle! the only thing is the Siene River tickets was separately emailed but the guy at Siene River checking tickets advised to check email so very knowledgeable. The Siene river cruise itself will give you so much view of the Eiffel tower! Super worth it!!!! 5stars indeed!

Opera Garnier was awesome! Looks grand and majestic! Seine river cruise was chaotic cos too many people and the queue did not indicate the timing of the cruise so everyone was in the same queue for different timings, needs to have more crowd control measures

The one at the opera is perfect! The one at the Seine River was not satisfactory. A lot of people were standing around, access controllers at the entrance were rude and impatient.

The Garnier ticket is sent to you virtually within the app, but the cruise ticket is sent to you by email. They are separate. I didn't notice and when I asked if I wanted to board the ship on the day, it was sent to me, but I had plans after that, so I bought a new ticket at the boarding station before the email was sent and boarded the ship. I hope this will be helpful in the future.

The Opera is spectacular, no comments, and the Seine river cruise at the location (which is listed in the ticket details) was peaceful and very interesting too. You can go in winter because there is a covered area with heating. This ticket is really good value for money. Recommended!

When I joined GYG I wanted activities that were close to each other, however, I had to take the metro from the Opera Garnier to the Trocadéro where the boat tour is located! For those who don't want to walk a lot in the cold on the same day, it becomes inconvenient. So I don't see the benefit of buying both activities together! Both excellent!

The visit to the opera is perfect. Entrance and route very good. On the other hand, very unhappy with the cruise on the Seine. We did not go on the entire planned route and we saw that the boat made the pleasure last by staying at a stop longer than necessary. Frankly to be reviewed.

The weather was nice and the Seine River cruise was pleasant. Since it was a set with the Opera Garnier, I was a little confused because I didn't have a barcode, but the guy checking the cruise ticket quickly helped me and I was able to board without any problems. It was great that we had more than an hour to see many different sights. The reviews said it was best to sit on the right side, but in reality, it seemed like the main buildings were concentrated on the left side. French people enjoying their holidays waved to us from the riverbank, and when we waved back, they were very happy, which was fun.

The Seine River cruise was nice, but there were a lot of people there, probably because it was night. The central staircase at the Garnier was also crowded with people taking photos, which was a pain.

We had to make our own way to each venue so not sure why we were asked about transport. I booked this activity as when I went on the official website it said it was full with no admissions. But the price was only slightly higher through this company. I got my voucher sent straight to phone. Opera house was amazing. The architecture was stunning. Well worth a visit. We then went on the boat ride which again was amazing. Supposing how much there is to see up the river. With the sun out just chilling on the boat enjoying the scenery. Only thing that was missing was a pint sadly they did not sell beer on the boat. I would really recommend these 2 thing and cost were reasonable Scott

The Opera House was great. If you didn't have a ticket, you had to line up. It said to show the mobile voucher on Get your guide, but I didn't know that the voucher came by email. I had a hard time finding the ticket at the Opera House, and I couldn't enter if I hadn't noticed the email. The voucher will be emailed to you the day before, so I think you should download it and write that you're going to visit.

our voucher didn't work (it didn't have a QR code) but luckily the nice lady at the entrance gave us free tickets when we showed it (she knew about the problem) and we were able to visit this wonderful place. Unfortunately we had no luck on the ship and even showing the deposited payment didn't help.

The reception on the 2 sites: difficult to find your way. It is not specified in the order that the visit to the opera is not a guided tour, but a visit with audio guides: hence unnecessary stress in respecting the arrival time!

Very easy entrance with our prepaid ticket. We hired the audio and it came with an iPad type of device that led us through a tour of the opera. The interior is beautiful and opulent. Loved our visit.

The opera house is a must see! Front of the line saved time. We took lots of time looking at this beautiful amazing place. We didn't take the day cruise. We went shopping across the street at Lafayette which is an amazing shopping experience. Go to the rooftop deck. It's incredible. Every package we booked (8) went perfectly. You might save a buck or two booking yourself but trust me the extra money is money well spent. I'll use them for every vacation I go on moving forward.

The Opera House was fantastic especially with the audio guide (extra). What an amazing place! We found our way to the boat cruise (quite a distance) and got onboard fairly quickly. While I enjoyed the scenery during the cruise, I was disappointed there was no commentary. You could download an app but we did not have data or WiFi to do that.

The attendant was a bit confused regarding our tickets, but it was a great way to see all the sites from the waterfront especially since you can't go into Notre Dame and being up close to it on the street. All you see is scaffolding.

The ticket dispatch worked well, but you had to ask yourself on the spot how the further procedure was, because nobody seemed to know this type of ticket. Unfortunately, access to the auditorium was blocked, but the stairwell and foyer are also impressive - only unfortunately in the afternoon firmly in the hands of Instagram photographers.

Initially, the Opera closed 1 hr. Before our allotted time, but we were able to visit it another day (since our ticket was good for 1 yr). We came back and I’m so glad we had time to see the beauty inside of this massive historical building. We took so many pictures on that stairway! We also took our Siene River Cruise during the day, and it went so smoothly. We all enjoyed seeing everything around us as we passed by the different sights, buildings, bridges, and the guide spoke in different languages during the ride. Thankful for the beautiful weather that accompanied this cruise.

The visit to the opera was great. You can save yourself the trip to the Seine. The audio guide did not work on the ship. So it was boring and uninteresting.

It was great! The boat had such a lovely staff and departure is every half an hours. All the information about location, time etc. is available on the app and in the confirmation mail they send! Palais Garnier is one of the most beautiful places in Paris, we enjoyed every second of it. Overall, our experience was fantastic!

The great hall of the Opera Garnier was closed. Unfortunately, there was no information about this in advance. For the boat tour we had to queue for almost 1 hour. Again, there was no information about the departure time. Nothing was said about the possibility of an Aufioguide either. Only a tiny sticker indicated it. We saw him at the end of the drive. However, you would have to log in with your mobile phone. Overall, the boat trip was associated with a considerable amount of time and unfortunately offered little worth knowing.

On Cruzeiro we were surprised by the blocking of our entry to the boat, with the claim that our ticket was invalid and that we should look in our Inbox for a message from Cityzore with the tickets. Question: why send us on tour day? Why not two days earlier. Please, we don't need this. The shipping company employee was very patient and polite to help us. Think about it. Fantastic tickets, opera house superb, there early so got in quickly, river cruise was superb, unfortunately weather was hot, but didn't ruin what was a very scenic and informative cruise. The opera was impressive, magnificent. We were happy to see it from the inside. The sailing trip was, or rather the whole setup of getting so many people stowed on board and planted on a bench, I didn't care. A huge money machine, so I won't be subjected to that again, otherwise thanks. We cycled along the Seine, which we liked better.

I loved walking through the opera house! As someone who was a huge fan of Phantom of the Opera when I was younger, it was like a dream come true to get to be in the actual opera house the novel was based on and where part of the movie was filmed. I did not end up doing the Seine river cruise because unexpected plans came up instead.

The opera entry was seemless, additional fee for audio guide was good, but bulky. Packed with ppl during July summer. Prob would be nice to go to the Opera during an actual show to get better experience. The Seine cruise was so good, i recommend taking the last departure for less ppl, we went at 1030/1040pm. Paris on a saturday night is lovely and lively. Ppl gathered around the river to party and dance to their own music, lots of ship bars on the river. Lovely to see.

The Opera Garnier is a real highlight in Paris - not only for big ballet fans. Unfortunately, the lighting in the large hall failed during our visit - we were still overwhelmed by the architecture and the splendor. Audio guide costs €6.50 extra per person. Like all sights in Paris, the opera was VERY well attended and you try in vain to take a picture without 100 tourists. The boat tour was also very nice. Very well organized, nice boat and if you want to get the best possible view of Notre Dame you MUST go on the Seine. Great combo of opera and boat trip. We recommend!

It just lacks indications to find the starting point of the cruise as well as the timetables. Lots of work on the metro lines which did not make it easy to get to the place easily. (that's how it is) Visits to the opera house and the stroll were a wonderful moment of sharing. I highly recommend.

Very beautiful monument, a real splendor to visit even as a Parisian. If you do not receive the bar code on your ticket or via the app, you will not be able to make the visit. Call them, they are very responsive and friendly, they answer immediately. By phone, they speak only in English.
