This lovely train takes you to the beautiful little village at the top of the hill. The view of Paris from Montmartre, one of the most beautiful spots where you can watch. The train ride starts from below in front of the church. It takes the little village over the steep hill and past the Moulin Rouge, where you can further explore.
During this journey, you will explore sites such as; St. Peter's Church, The Red Mill, Montmartre Cemetery, Pigalle station, The vineyard of Montmartre , The cabaret "Au Lapin Agile".
You will also have the opportunity to see the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, one of the most visited spots in France, located on the hill.
With this train tour you can enjoy the scenic view of Paris and the small square with food and local painters. You can go up and down Montmartre, its famous wines, the places where famous painters lived or created their paintings, enjoy the atmosphere, relax and unwind.

⚈ The operating hours for Montmartre Train are from June to August, from 10 AM to 7 PM. From September to May, from 10 AM to 6 PM.
⚈ The Montmartrain Ticket acts as your voucher. Please present it to the staff to board the train.
⚈ There is no specific time for your reservation. You can get on the train whenever you want during the operating hours.
⚈ The train departs from Montmarte and returns to the same point.

⚈ The company name is Bateaux Parisiens. The address is Port de la Bourdonnais 75507. Pier Number 3. The departure point is located directly at the feet of the Eiffel Tower
⚈ Departure frequency ranges from every 30 minutes to every hour. Exact departure times will be printed on your ticket.
⚈ There is no specific time for your cruise reservation. You can use your cruise tickets during the company's operating hours. The cruise takes approximately one hour to complete.
⚈ River cruise tickets are valid for one month from the selected travel date.
⚈ During peak seasons, waiting times for the cruise may be longer due to high visitor volume. Your patience is appreciated.
⚈ Boats hold up to 300 passengers in good weather, and 120 passengers in rainy weather to meet safety regulations.
⚈ All boats are non-smoking, though smoking is allowed on the outdoor terrace.

Some people made it impossible to sit with them. There were only two of them on each row and won’t move to add other passengers. If you get out, you’re unable to get back up.

Eine schöne kleine Rundfahrt für all die Ecken, die man vielleicht nicht mehr zu Fuß erkundet. Luftiger, kleiner Zug, eine Seite durch Glas geschlossen und eine Seite ist auf, so dass man auch bei den heutigen 38° gut sitzen konnte. Die Durchsage ist abwechselnd englisch und französisch, und an den wichtigen Punkten wird kurz angehalten, um ein Fotostop zu machen. Die Wartezeit war nicht so schön. Wir waren pünktlich 9:50 Uhr am Treffpunkt und hatten ja bereits unsere Karten. Wir mussten aber dann bis 10:35 Uhr warten, bis der Zug voll war und alle bezahlt hatten. Das ist mit kleinem Kind nicht so schön .

It's great because you get to visit Montmartre and remember the places you want to see. The only downside is that it goes quite quickly and should stop sometimes to give you time to look at what it's showing you.

That space was made so that we could still get on. Some people were sitting antisocially with two people in a row when there was easily room for three people next to each other. The ticket inspector politely asked them to make room for us.

A wonderful experience that I highly recommend, with an Italian-speaking tour guide on the train. We enjoyed the neighborhood and passing by the Moulin Rouge. The tour stopped in front of the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, which is definitely worth a visit, along with its garden. There are several shops for shopping and souvenirs, as well as French brasseries and boulangeries nearby. I recommend this as an experience to enjoy in Paris. We were very satisfied!

Buying tickets via the app worked really well, as did scanning the mobile ticket before boarding. We were able to get on straight away without having to wait. Audio commentary about the sights and background information was provided in French and English. The tour ended back at the starting point below Sacré-Cœur. The carriages are covered, so you can enjoy the ride even if it rains.

It was okay. Unfortunately, the windows on the train were quite dirty. Otherwise, it was a nice trip, but nothing more. Worth trying once, but not a must. The train leaves every half hour or hour.

Wasn’t expecting to see so much. The train ride was longer than expected. Well worth the money. Improvement on specific location to meet train would be helpful. We stood on the lower road and then realized we needed to be directly to the left of church entry.

Experience not recommended. The train does not access the alleys of Montmartre but makes a wide circuit where there is nothing to see except the little piece of Pigalle street. In winter it is also very very cold because the train is partially open and in 45 minutes you freeze. I do not recommend it!
